Paperwork requirements

It differs from state to state, but there will be paperwork to complete. You can generally expect to provide certified copies of:

• your qualifications (MB BS and college)
• medical registration certificate for each state of registration
• medical indemnity
• identification documents
• vaccination documents

You will also be required to undertake a national police check, and provide three referees.

In order to snap up the work you want, it is best to have all of the information ready as soon as possible. Each employer will have their own requirements in terms of paperwork, and your locum agency will help you through the process.
