Military GP locums required in Victoria - 3 days per weekThis position is based in a military barracks in Victoria. If you are interested in taking care of Australia's best, this role could be for you. Our client is a well established private contractor to the Australian Defence Force, and is looking take on locums, or a full time practitioner to meet an immediate need. The position is embedded with the Australian Army in Puckapunyal, providing GP and primary health services. Monday to Friday - Estimated times: 7.30 am to 4pm. Some on-call work may be available during this time The duties mainly involve General Primary Health Care, please see some of the duties below;
1. Sick parade consultations 2. GP consultations, referrals, health screenings and liaison 3. Minor surgery and inoculations 4. Conduct of Occupational Medical and Health Assessments for all ADF. 5. Health testing 6. Other duties such as patient clinical record maintenance.You will be well taken care of, with all travel and accommodation needs met for the time you are there.
