| Make a difference in local communities as a locum GP Excellent remuneration Flexibility Travel and work We receive almost daily requests for GP locums across Australia. If you are interested in doing something different, working as a GP locum could be for you. You will often make a huge difference to local communities who may have missed out on medical care without the services of a locum. The clinical work is as varied as the requests we receive. However, you will need to be confident in basic procedural skills (such as suturing). The locations range from city, to regional, to completely rural and remote areas. Placements can be for between one week, and several months in length. You will often be reimbursed for travel and accommodation for the time you are there. | The Ideal Candidate: | |
| Locum GPs will be need to be available for at least a week at a time, and usually need to travel. You must hold FRACGP or FACRRM, and Australian Medical Registration. Those who do not require DWS are especially in demand, but those who are restricted are encouraged to apply. |
